Kim Victoria Cattrall (born August 21 1956) is an actor from Canada, British. most well-known for her performance in the role of Samantha Jones in the HBO series Sex and the City for which she was awarded five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. Between 2008 and 2010, she reprised her role in the films Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2. Her most prominent role includes Police Academy, Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin, and Porky's from the 1980s. Kim Cattrall is most often linked to her HBO sitcom Sex & the City, where she played Samantha Jones. The part as Samantha Jones played by noted actress Cattrall was an important moment in her professional career. She was a star on the national stage and earned international fame through the show.
